He who sows sparingly will
also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also
reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his
heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a
cheerful giver. Corinthians 9:6,7

Home For Life Cat Sanctuary225 New Hope Road Buffalo, Missouri 65622 Home For Life Cat Sanctuary is a Missouri Non-Profit Corporation which provides a life long home currently to 70 felines. We cater to the homeless feline, specializing in the feline with special needs. Our felines have come from our local city pound and surrounding area. We have residents with FELV, FIV, handicaps, injuries, seniors, ferals and behavior problems. Our current facility is an outside one. We are needing to upgrade and provide an inside facility with secured outside access, create a full time staff position, and we are always in need of monetary donations, as well as, donations of food, litter, cat beds and other cat related items. We are unable accept more residents until our upgrades and improvements are made. Our ultimate goal is to provide a home to 100 felines. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!
Children's Hopes & Dreams Foundation has been fulfilling the last 'dreams' of children with life threatening illnesses throughout the United States since 1983. The foundation further brightens the lives of thousands of ill children and their families every year, now in 53 countries around the globe, through its Pen Pal and Kid's Kare Package programs.
We are in need of small items for the Kid's Kare Packages. Since we send packages to the ill children on a daily basis, we are dangerously low in our supplies and would appreciate your help in this way. The foundation will make good use out of any items for children through age seventeen. All of these services are FREE to the children and their families.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

| Rescue for horses headed for slaughter from
Ladbroke DRC 28001 Schoolcraft Road Livonia, Michigan 48150 USA Phone: (734) 525-7300 |

Today (10-15-98) there was a story on the 5:00 news about Ladbroke DRC (Detroit Race Course) and how they need help for 100's of horses possibly headed for the slaughter house if they don't find good homes for them. DRC is shutting down for good, I think they are tearing it down to build something else. This is in Livonia, Michigan. They showed a beautiful Bay TB a man bought for only $600.00, in good health, just raised for racing, but they all could be easily trained for jumping, drassage or trail riding. Please check this out, I have been on a mission at igive.com in a nonprofit site called Equus Sanctuary which helps save horses from slaughter, starvation and neglect, you can also go to http://www.eyegive.com/html/ssi.cfm?cid=3019&mid=20377 If you sign up $2.00 will be donated to Equus Sanctuary at no charge to you. Thank You so much
You can also call DRC for more information at 734-525-7300

Alleycat Rescue & Adoption 13617 Fuchs Grove Road Manor, Texas 78653 USA Lew Christy, Director Alleycat Rescue PO Box 221 Manor, TX 78653-0221 Email: catrescue@writeme.com |
We are a nonprofit cat rescue organization that operates our own no-kill shelter. All cats are rescued from "death row" city shelters, abandonment and from former pet owners who can no longer care for them. All felines are tested, spayed, neutered and vaccinated before being placed for adoption into caring indoor only homes. Our shelter desperately needs cash contributions, cat food, litter (scoopable preferred), cages for the newcomers, cloth towels, paper towels, scratching post or anything a cat or kitten will benefit from while waiting to be adopted. Your kind help is greatly appreciated.
